Doctor Okuda answered our questions

On Sunday, November 9, 2008, Dr. Darin T. Okuda, Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology, UCSF MS Center, answered questions posed by an audience of persons with MS and friends and caregivers.

This free event was sponsored by MS LifeLines.

An Educational Symposium: April 5, 2008

Dr. Traiq Bhatti from Duke University's Department of Ophthalmology and Medicine spoke at the Marriott Hotel in Monterey. He presented an overview of how MS affects vision, and the possible treatment options. In the question and answers session, he addressed a range of issues related to MS.

Kristie Salerno Kent presented her video, "The Show Must Go On", which shows how others might gain an insight of what it is like to have MS. Her song, "I Believe", about her own experience with MS, closed the session.

Needless to say, both presentations were well-received by the audience. We thank EMD Serono for sponsoring this presentation in our ongoing Speakers Events Program.
