Our Vision
MSQLP will use a case management system to provide resources and education to those in the community with MS and to their families. MSQLP will ally with other health care providers to support the MS community and to improve their quality of life. Through educational programs we will empower those with MS and will create more understanding about MS among those who do not have the disease.
Where you can go from here
From here, you can travel to pages that give you a sense of what makes MSQLP function!
Here are some videos that will introduce you to some of the people who make our work possible.
The links will take you to an overview of our organizational structure, the history of our organization, a glimpse at the events we're currently offering, and some of the fun and informative events we've sponsored in the past. You can read about our new newsletter format, and read some of the recent issues. The past issues (as a zipped PDF file), as well as the current issue, chronicle where we've been, and where we are now.
You can read our stories, which range from the philosophical and personal musings of one of our founders, to narratives of everyday realities faced by MS patients and their caregivers and loved ones (often one and the same).
We have a MS Info page where you can find links to articles that will help you and your caregivers to understand MS. On that page, there is also a link to an assistive technologies page, where we help you to find information about devices and ideas that will help you maintain your quality of life.
And, you can learn about one of our MS Info projects, the Chart of Many Colors, which is an ongoing visual summary of our efforts on behalf of the MS community in the tri-county area. It was featured in the Spring 2006 issue (Volume 8, Issue 2), page 43 of MSFocus Magazine, as part of their outreach visit program "MSF On the Road." Here you can read an excerpt of the article, and see a photo of some of our members holding the Chart.
